as i alluded, brett & i went to indiana to visit his family last week. we surprised his mom with our arrival, while she was was being surprised by the rest of the family with a giant hawaiian luau party for her 60th birthday! we spent about equal parts driving and visiting, but did enjoy some wonderful times with the clan.
