as part of cayla's thesis show, she wanted to have an extravagant, over-the-top, visually appealing cake. her mom & i were tasked with this project, which was both time consuming and adventurous! we spent hours creating a mass of swiss meringue buttercream frosting (23 cups to be exact!), jill spent a night baking cakes that were unsuccessful, and we spent another day creating new cakes & putting the masterpiece together. i had a great time documenting our process.
